Active Assisted ROM for an acutely painful shoulder, most often due to surgery, post traumatic dislocation, or conservative management of a massive rotator cuff tear.

Client Rationale
This exercise is to help you get your shoulder range of motion back without using the muscles that are painful, healing, or both.



Instructions
  • Stand close to the wall.
  • Place hand on the wall and climb up slowly until you feel a gentle stretch.
  • Do not move quickly.
  • There should not be any sharp pain.
