This is an exercise that helps to distract the hip joint and help to lubricate the joint surfaces. It also helps to relax the muscles surrounding the hip joint.



Instructions
  • Standing on a small step or stair for balance with support for balance.
  • Allow outside leg to hang free over the edge of the step.
  • Swing your leg forward and backward.
  • Do not move your pelvis or your trunk.
