This is a basic exercise to 'set' the shoulder blades in the proper position for both postural exercises and shoulder strengthening. You should 'set' the shoulder blades with each shoulder strengthening exercise.
Instructions
- Pull shoulder blades down and together as if you are tucking them in your back pockets.
- Do not hike shoulders.
- Do not squeeze shoulder blades back beyond neutral.
