Client Rationale
This is an exercise used to help strengthen your radial deviators with an exercise band. Radial deviators bring your hand towards your thumb side, however functionally they stabilize the wrist during activities of the hand and the wrist.
Instructions
- Sit with forearm supported on a table or on your lap.
- Fix exercise band underneath your foot and hold the opposite end with your hand.
- With thumb on top, with your hand pointing somewhat downward, bring hand up towards you.
- Do not move balistically or rapidly.
