Client Rationale
This is an buttock and internal rotator stretch. The internal rotators are a group of muscles that make up part of your buttock. They help to rotate your leg inwards and stabilize your leg and pelvis functionally.



Instructions
  • Lie on your back and bend your knees up slightly.
  • Cross your ankle over your opposite knee.
  • Pull opposite thigh gently toward your chest to stretch your buttock.
  • Do not bounce.
  • Do not stretch to the point of pain.
  • Do not reach up with your trunk - use a towel around your thigh instead.
