Client Rationale
This is an isometric exercise for your hip adductors. An isometric contraction is when you activate a muscle without moving the joint it controls. Your hip adductors are a group of muscles that help to bring your leg toward midline and functionally they help to stabilize the legs and pelvis.
Instructions
- Bend knees up to about 90 degrees.
- Put a pillow between your knees.
- Squeeze pillow with your knees flexing your inner thigh muscles.
- Do not hold your breath.
