This is a strengthening exercise using an exercise band that helps to strengthen your elbow flexors (Biceps Brachii, Brachiradialis, and Brachialis). These muscles function as prime movers to bend your arm at the elbow. You need these muscles for lifting and carrying.



Instructions
  • Fix exercise band under your foot or to something stable.
  • Start with your arm at your side and your elbow straight.
  • Bend up at the elbow keeping your elbow tucked into your side.
  • Return slowly.
  • Do not move at the waist, shoulder, or back, move only at the elbow.
  • Do not move balistically.
