This is a strengthening exercise using an exercise band that helps to strengthen your elbow extensors (Triceps Brachii and Anconeus). These muscles function as prime movers to straighten your arm at the elbow. You need these muscles for lifting and carrying.



Instructions
  • Fix exercise band into a door jamb.
  • Start with your arm at your side and your elbow bent.
  • Straighten your elbow keeping your elbow tucked into your side.
  • Return slowly.
  • Do not mov at the waist, shoulder, or back, move only at the elbow.
  • Do not move balistically.
