This is an exercise that helps you strengthen all of the stabilizing muscles in the leg and trunk. Your exercise band leg works at moving the hip while your trunk stays stable. Your stance leg must work very hard to keep you balanced.
Instructions
- Fix exercise band behind you and loop opposite end around your ankle.
- Keep knee straight.
- Keep abs tight.
- Flex and extend hip back and forth in quick oscillations.
- Do not allow low back to extend.
- Do not lean forward at the waist.
- Do not sway.
