Client Rationale
This exercise is to help to strengthen the hip adductor muscles using an exercise band. These muscles abduct your hip(bring your leg towards midline), and functionally stabilize your pelvis and hips. Using the exercise band also helps to strengthen your core muscles.
Instructions
- Return slowly.
- Fix the exercise band to a table and then loop around your ankle.
- Lying on your back on the floor with one knee bent.
- Bring your leg towards midline.
- Do not move at your pelvis or trunk.
