This is a cervical stabilization exercise that helps to strengthen the stabilizing rotators of the neck and helps to promote segmental motion.



Instructions
  • Keep shoulder blades down and together.
  • Slide head upwards and tuck chin slightly down.
  • Take partial weight of the head off the pillows and slowly turn head to look at your shoulder.
  • Move slowly.
  • Lie on your side with your head supported on a pillow in a neutral position.
  • Do not experience any pain or strain.
  • Do not allow shoulder or chest to move.
  • Do not allow chin to poke forward.
