Braiding

Professional Rationale
Good exercise to improve balance, especially in the geriatric population and the end stages of ACL reconstruction rehab. It is best to observe the patient doing this in a supervised environment initially so that they do not challenge themselves too much independently and risk a fall. This exercise engages all lower extremity muscles in their stabilizing function, but particularly the adductors and abductors.
