This is a strengthening exercise for your biceps muscle. This is a muscle that allows you to bend at the elbow. The biceps muscle is mostly a prime mover which means it lifts heavier weight - it is a mover not a thinker. Typically you will use a weight with this exercise.



Instructions
  • Start with arm straight and by your side.
  • Bend up at elbow, contracting the biceps muscle.
  • Return in a slow and controlled manner.
  • Keep abs tight.
  • Do not pull the arm up ballsitically.
  • Move only at the elbow, do not move your shoulder.
