Professional Rationale
Baseline strengthening exercise that can be used in the early stages of rehabilitation to help to clear edema and engage the muscles groups. It also helps to engage the peronei however this is much better accomplished when inversion is completed in sitting or weightbearing.

Client Rationale
This is an exercise to help you strengthen the muscles on the outside of your calf (the peronei). It also helps to gain eversion range of motion in your ankle.



Instructions
  • Bring foot outwards..
  • Return slowly.
  • Do not move your knee or your hip.
